Special interest groups really hate it when someone messes with their bacon. The British Government is ending free ESL lessons for Asylum seekers. Now, while they need to show proficiency in English, they can’t get it for free.
College lecturers, non-governmental organisations, trade unions and charities have united in their condemnation of the British government’s decision to withdraw the right to free English lessons for asylum seekers.
I wonder why they have united in their condemnation? Do they really care about the Asylum seekers or do they just care about the esl programs they are running that will not be without government funding?
It sure makes ya wonder.
