Print Labels and Stamps At Your Home Office

I don’t know about anyone else, but I get irritated when I have to go to the post office just to buy postage. I know I could buy a roll of stamps in advance, but it still means I have to go to the post office and wait in a long line just to buy stamps. I know there is a better way and now it’s never been easier to get online stamps. It means no more trips to the post office just to buy postage. That’s a good time saver.

That just leaves the problem of printing your online stamps. That’s where the Dymo LabelWriter 400 Turbo comes in. You just hook it up your computer using a USB cable and you can not only print out your postage, but you can also print out many different kinds of labels. Printing out your stamps is good enough, but printing out labels is a huge plus.

It comes with software to help you design the best looking labels. This means you can make up professional looking labels for envelopes, folders, badges and even low volume products you sell. It can even print your labels directly from Microsoft Word and WordPerfect. You don’t have to worry about replacing toner or cartridges since it utilizes thermal printing. That’s means all you need is blank labels. It’s simply easy to print up labels.

I think the Dymo LabelWriter 400 Turbo would be a great addition to any small business and could easily give you a positive return on investment.

Working From Home

When I was teaching, I did a lot of working from home. It’s where I would do a lot of my lesson planning and it was where I graded much of my exams and homework. Whenever I would move to a new house or apartment, I would set up my working area so that I could effectively use the time I had for working at home. Now that I am in real estate, I am still working from home, but the focus has changed.

I spend a lot of my time at home gathering information. I learn about the real estate market on a national, regional and local basis. I learn about different home mortgage options for clients. I even look for leads on people interested in buying a home. I might even touch base with clients in the evening.

I’m still working from home, I am just accomplishing different tasks. I feel a great sense of accomplishment spending a few hours working from home because I know I am improving my career and getting ahead.

So what ideas do you have for working at home?
