School Frustrations

Talking with a friend of mine, I realize that school frustrations aren’t just the domain of teachers. Sure we get frustrated with schools, but so do students. They get frustrated with schools just as much as we do, if not more.

Firstly, it’s not as easy for them to leave the school as it is for us teachers. We can easily leave and find something new.

Secondly, they are not getting paid, in fact they are paying to go to the school. If they are unable to affect change in the school, how much less can we as teachers ever do?

Just something to think about!

Summer Breeze

I am looking forward to summer time. It seems like it’s just around the corner. Ok, I know it snowed a few days ago, but that’s the last gasp of winter. Winter is just getting out the door so we can enjoy good weather.

I am looking forward to a couple of vacations this summer. It should be good, and yes I will be blogging about them. I will make them event blogs. Maybe call one them as a play on summer breeze. Ah, summer breeze makes me feel nice. :)

Event blogs can make a lot of money if done the right way. It sits out there and generates income for years to come if you monetize it the right way.

Medical Techniques To Help You Get Pregnant

My sister-in-law has been trying to have a baby for years. Her and her husband really want to do what it takes to have a child of their own, but so far they have come up empty handed. They have recently went for fertility treatments in hopes of getting pregnant. They really want to be blessed with a child of their own and I understand why. It’s a lot of joy.

If the treatments don’t work, they will be looking into In Vitro Fertilization, also called IVF. It’s the method where an egg is fertilized and then implanted into the womb. It can successful in helping couples have children.

It can be even more successful when it is combined with Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis. IVF PGD simply means that egg has testing done on it before it is implanted. It’s a chance to know the sex of the baby and be aware of any genetic problems in the early growth of the embryo.

Getting a successful IVF pregnancy means that you need to visit a doctor with the experience and skills to make it work. Dr. Morris is one such doctor. He’s in the Chicago area,he runs a fertility clinic and he maintains the IVF 1 website. It has a lot of information about the IVF procedures so people can make an informed choice about having the procedure done. If my sister-in-law decides to go with IVF, I know who I will suggest her to contact.

Global Warming?

Just to switch gears a little bit, I have been hearing much to much of late concerning global warming. I don’t if it is because I was out of the US for so long or if it is because of recent data, but it sure sounds like the chorus is getting deafening. Could it be that recent data is questioning the idea of global warming?

For example, the last 6 year has seen flat growth in temperatures and now, it has begun to digress with temperatures falling. It seems like I can bring up some interesting facts that I have begun finding.

- Arctic Ice expanded during the last winter making up much of the losses that were so dire not long ago.

- The arctic seal hunt is running into trouble because of heavy ice.

- The scale of temperature increases is much less than even 600 years ago. Do you remember reading about farming in Greenland?

I think the jury is still out on global warming or maybe it is not and the powers that be are doing one last desperate gasp for attention.
