Learn English Online

After being involved in the TEFL profession for several years, I learned a thing or two about learning English. When you are a teacher, you start looking for effective ways for your students to learn English. I became very impressed with the way students could utilize computers to learn English. Now, a revolution in English learning is underway.

Now, instead of trying to find a place to study English, students can attend an online English school. This means that students are able to study their English lesson in their own home or office. They can get the personalized attention that only an online course can offer. Not only is there interaction with their English teacher, but also many other tools are available to help students master English.

By learning how to master your English lesson online, you will be able to get ahead in your job or in your education. You will learn how to properly pronounce words and phrases and you will be able to improve your grammar. Best of all, you’ll gain confidence in your English ability.

I have begun suggesting many of my former students to take up English lessons online because I think they offer the best value for their money and the best opportunity they have in improving their English.

What’s the Stink about Windsor TEFL?

Just to shift focus for a bit back to the my former career, it turns out that a big stink is being raised online about Windsor TEFL Schools and it’s alleged involvement with a lot of threats concerning TEFL websites.

TEFL is a tough job no matter how you slice it. TEFL is full of a lot of unscrupulous recruiters, schools and training providers. It seems like all they want to do is to make as much money as they can, no matter who they step on. According to what some people are saying, this applies to Windsor TEFL schools as well.

If you are going to take a TEFL course, make sure you do your research and find out all you can before jumping into a TEFL course. Make sure you choose a good TEFL course provider. After reading information on the net, I think I’d avoid taking a Windsor TEFL course.

Train Yourself

Lately I have been talking quite a bit about training. You can take training courses that cover a broad level of topics. These training courses will help you get a better job and can be a huge help when making the career adjustment that you face when coming back home from a stint abroad. Many of the training ideas I have suggested have been courses in educational institutions, but that doesn’t have to be the case.

You can train yourself. It’s really simple. Find an area that you are interested in and start studying it. Read all the books you can find, find information online, interact with professionals in the field, and try to get hands on experience. It doesn’t take long before you become proficient in the area and that proficiency can open doors in the job market.

Granted this won’t work for all jobs, but it will work for some and can be worth a try if you don’t have access to more formal educational opportunities.

Easily Manage Your Training Programs

Training is one area where businesses are expanding. Business processes are getting more complex and mistakes can be costly, that’s why business training is becoming more important with each passing year. If you have better trained employees, your business will be more productive.

In order to help make your training as effective as possible, you need to look into training administration software. Conductor is a learning management system that gives you all of the information you need to properly manage your business training needs. This means that you get the help needed to develop and manage your training curriculum. This means that you can easily track your employee training sessions and how well your employees are reaching your training goals. This means that you can have better trained employees helping you build a more productive business.

A Career in Corporate Training?

It’s always surprising whenever I meet a former TEFL teacher who came back home. I always ask them what kind of career they found and how they made their adjustment. It helps me with ideas to share with readers on this site and that’s just what happened a few days ago when I met up with one former teacher.

Maybe I shouldn’t say former teacher because he is still involved in teaching, just not teaching TEFL. He is in corporate training. Instead of teaching English, he is teaching business training programs. The pay is very good and he is using the skills he honed in several years of teaching abroad. He is definitely a success story in coming back from abroad.
