Dealing With Hair Loss

I have recently been sufferring from thinning hair. In the past, I always kept my hair very short, but my wife prefers me to have to some hair so last year I let my hair grow out. That’s when I really started to notice that my hair is really getting thin in places.

Baldness runs in my family so I’ve known for awhile that I would need to do something about it if I wanted to keep a nice head of hair. Now that it is beginning to strike me, I have been looking at solutions to hair loss. I know I can take medicine, but that really didn’t work for my father. Most of my research is saying that a hair transplant is the best way to keep a full head of hair.

Nu/Hart Hair Clinics has got a lot of information on the procedures for a hair transplant as well information on how successful their hair transplants are. I might not be ready for a transplant right now, but I sure am looking into it.

Securing Your Email

A friend of mine have recently been exploring ways to keep email safe and secure. He lives in a country where freedom isn’t necessarily present so we have been looking at ways to keep email secure from computer to computer, especially since Yahoo and other companies seem very willing to turn information over to less than friendly governments.

We previously tried Hushmail but I don’t like the interface and it seemed to clunky to have a totally encrypted solution and have a dedicated email address just for encrypted emails. That’s why we went to something a little better and I think this solution is pretty good.

We are using Thunderbird with the Enigmail extension. This means that we are able to encrypt every email before we send it out and only decrypt it once it gets back here. To make things better, we use gmail since they allow IMAP mail for free. It seems to be a great solution that is working well.

Eating Right

One of the best ways to improve my health was been exercise. I feel that finally I am feeling free and full of energy. Part of that reason is also the changes in the food I eat. I have found that it’s important to make sure that you are putting the best food you can into your body.

What do I mean by the best food? It means putting in quality food. It means not going for the cheapest food available, but instead looking at the labels and finding the best quality possible. It means making sure that junk food doesn’t find its way to the table.

It also means that my wife and I are going to be planting our own garden this spring. We want to grow our own vegetables and be able to eat them through the year and then in the fall we will be canning the extras.

Getting Very Personal Jewelry

Jewelry is the one of the most precious gifts you can give someone. It’s personal and can even be an extension of yourself and your feelings, especially if you get the jewelry from custom design jewelers. A good custom design jeweler can give you designs that are one of a kind and really exhibit the feelings you have deep in your heart.

I like taking things a step further by designing my own jewelry. That’s where YouDesignWeCreate.com comes in. They will create great jewelry items from your designs. You supply them with the design and they will craft the custom piece of jewelry. What better way to make your jewelry gift an extension of you?

Mall Walking

It’s been very cold lately and I really haven’t been able to do my morning walks like I have wanted to do. I have tried doing some simple exercises in our home, but it’s not quite the same. The exercises help me build up my energy level, but they don’t give me the long term benefits I get from walking.

Luckily, I have found a great alternative to walking outside. I am doing mall walking. I can just drive down to the mall and then do a walk through. Instead of doing it in the morning, I do it in the evening. No worries about it being too dark, too hot, or too cold. It’s nice and I get the great ambiance of a mall. I just put on my mp3 player and I am in walking bliss…

Now if I can just avoid Burger King on the way out…..
